September 28    COMPETITION: BIRDS OF A FEATHER

Any bird, any behaviour in any setting is eligible. From wild and free to your pet budgie.

August 3        COMPETITION: DUSK UNTIL DAWN

The period from dusk to dawn, sunset to sunrise, must be obvious in the image.

June 22         COMPETITION: SOMETHING SMALL

The main subject of the photograph can be anything from still life to roaring with life but must be smaller than a teacup.

May 11          COMPETITION: SOCIAL DOCUMENTARY

This subject encompasses street photography, photojournalism and human interest and how we interact in and with our world. The image must make a statement about the society in which we live.

March 30        COMPETITION: PATTERN & TEXTURE

Patterns and textures can be found everywhere from nature to architecture. Pattern and/or texture must be the dominant theme of the image.

February 16     COMPETITION: THE COLOUR RED

Any image is suitable providing the main theme is the colour red. ‘Colour’ subjects have been favourite with members, so we’ve revisited the colour red!
