Visiting English camera club member Paul Hughes presents a series of projected images and commentary detailing his travel and adventures in Spain.
26 Peer Review/Critique Session
Each member attending gets to present at least one of their images, describe and explain it to the club and discuss it with others.
Several new formats will be trialed this year aiming at maximising the benefits members gain from this ‘in-house’, friendly, risk-free, no scoring chance to display, discuss and evaluate your work with others.

After the success of this in 2014, several experienced club members will take you through the capture process and post production techniques used to create particular types of images with new material.

On this occasion members will be asked to present a photo essay rather than individual images.

4 Competition: Minimalist Landscape
A picture conveying a sense of landscape with minimal visual cues to create that impression. Depth and perspective often implied rather than self-evident. Subjects are often small or incomplete. Be clever with your compositions and dispense with traditional formulas.
18 Workshop: Alternatives to Adobe
Several club members will demonstrate and review some affordable photo editing software packages. Some of these are actually FREE

The annual duel with Edwardstown comprising both prints and projected image – this time it’s at our place

16 Competition: 7 Deadly Sins
They are lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride.
Your image needs to clearly demonstrate one or more of these. Do your worst!
30 Workshop: Up Close and Personal
Table top and nature images all involve getting up close and personal. Several club members will demonstrate some of these techniques. Bring your camera, as well as tripod and macro lens if you have them.

27 Competition: Nature in the City
We tend to think of cities as concrete jungles. However there is a wealth of plants, animals, fungi etc forming a natural world in the midst of man’s construction. Capture some of it. The city environment must be evident.

Shadows are areas where the light falling on the scene has been obscured by some object. The dictionary also says – a faint representation, ghost, phantom, gloom and slight trace. One or more of the features above should be significant in your image
