Given that we have a Photo Journalism competition coming up in a few weeks time, here are a few pages you might like to read:
- starting with the work of Carrie Boretz in New York from the mid-1970s till 1998.
- Then a more recent examination of squatters in London from South African photographer Corrina Kern
- And if you want some photo journalism on the road – how about a road trip along the Siberian Highway? Now that is a trip with a story!
Some of this work falls into a Fine Art category, and if you missed it on our Facebook page – Alberto’s new passion – Fine Art Photography. An interesting discussion between Alberto and James ensued when he posted this…..sign up to see what they said.
Finally, I find that B&W is good for giving my street photo images impact – and here are a couple of methods for doing that conversion – one from Adobe Create Magazine and one from Jason Vinson in f-Stoppers for Lightroom users (like me)
